Short and sweet.



A cry awoke Blackarachnia up from her sleep with a soft moan she rolled over to wake Silverbolt up. Running her hand over his side feeling the emptiness she remembered he had a late shift.

moaning she got out of the bed, grabbing her night grown before walking out of the room.

She found her young ward curdled up in his bed, crying softly.

"Nightscream," she whispered softly, walking to his side. Unsure of what to do, as this was Silverbolts line of work not hers.

She ran her hand though his shorten hair, he has recently cut claiming it was upsetting his eye sight.

Nightscream looked up to her softly, wiping his eyes.

"Nightmare?" Black asked softly, petting his hair.

Nightscream jumped up in to her arms suddenly, wrapping his arms around her.

Black was slow to react, petting his back softly.

"Magatron again?"

Magatron had been hunting the child's dreams since the war had ended.

Nightscream nodded in the crook of her neck as he begin crying harder in to her hair.

Black ran her hand though his hair, softly petting his back.

"Hush now," Black whispered softly, as she settled him comfortably on her lap. "Your safe, hes gone now."

Nightscream nodded, before hiccuping calming down slightly.

Black softly ran her hand down his back, "Your know I wouldn't let anyone hurt you right?"

Nightscream nodded as she wiped his eyes, as he pulled away.

Black smiled to him softly, "Here, you want to to sit with you, until your asleep?"

Nightscream nodded, laying down again pulling her down beside him.

"Stay with me?" he asked, as he curled up in to her arms.

Black smiled softly, "Well since I am down here anyways."

She curled up beside him, allowing him to fall asleep in her arms.
