Dinobot and Hamlet

Hello all!

I'm currently finishing up a paper on the prevelance of Shakespeare's Hamlet in modern programming for adolescents. The three characters I'm focusing in on are Simba (the Lion King), Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender), and OF COURSE Dinobot. =)

What I'm posting for is to ask for your guys help. My professor okay'ed my using this discussion (hopefully we'll start a discussion here! Please) as a source in my paper. If you have a few minutes, could you just comment on your feelings towards the Hamlet/Dinobot correlation in general or answers to these prompts:

Okay so we all know the three specific instances of Hamlet quotations in Beast Wars (the Yorick thing, to be or not to be, the rest in silence) but what other things about Dinobot's character resemble the Hamlet character (the dilemmas with destiny vs. free will).

Do you think that any of the other Beast Wars characters resemble other Hamlet cast members (even if only in a scene or two, to play off Dinobot being the Hamlet character)?

When you read Hamlet in high school, did you see the connection between him and Dinobot (or vice versa if you read the play first and then saw the show)? Did it do anything to effect the way you read the play?

Can you think of other cartoon characters/plots other than those mentioned with (non-gag) Hamlet influences?
