Six hours of sleep, work, sfu anime con all in one day... ugh. Anyways, here’s the scoop! Blackarachnia is damaged when she is being brought back to the base. She's fine when Rhinox is scanning her, but she's damaged again when she's outside. Also, Tarantulas does not make a sound when he transforms into robot mode and when he fires the ultimate blow to the base there’s an anti-max symbol on it.
Now for some fun discovery facts! "Crossing the Rubicon" is an old saying that refers to a point of no return. The saying dates back to the campaigns of Julius Caesar. In 49 BC, Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon River with his army in order to preserve his position in the Roman political landscape. This led to a civil war between the armies loyal to Caesar and those on the side of the Senate. Thus, "Crossing the Rubicon" has long since meant a choice made that cannot be backed away from. The appearance of Megs rubber ducky during the communication with Tarantulas marks the last appearance of the Preds leader's much beloved toy in the series. It presumably was vaporized when the Pred base was destroyed two episodes later in "Other Victories.” Also, in this eppy not only does Meg have his rubber ducky, but he also has a slushie in his right hand before hiding it from Tarantulas.
